The Problem...

For the Kustom Painter or Airbrush Artist and their Jobber is there are literally hundreds of custom colors out there. Some of the latest ones on the market today go for well over $500 a quart! Few Jobbers can afford to stock much, if any of these custom colors. Besides, you never know what your customers will ask for next and whatever it is, you probably won't have it in stock. After all, that's the problem in a nutshell... not having what you need, when you need it.

By following the easy to use X-otic Colours Formulation Charts included in your station you can mix any quantity, from as little as one ounce to as much as you desire. The components are easily measured using the highly accurate digital scale supplied with your station. These field tested formulations cover approximately 90-95% of off the shelf "custom colors" that are on the market today. You can mix almost any kustom color, right before your eyes! You can even develop your own completely unique and totally new colors with the system!

IRS SMALL SHOP TAX BREAK
Let the IRS Help Pay for Your New System

Check with an accountant before making final tax plans, because many business owners overlook IRS section 179. This is perhaps the best self-employed tax break of all! Section 179 allows—but does not require—a deduction of up to $100,000 of asset purchases to be deducted. This is known as "expensing" an asset.

For instance, an airbrush artist, custom painter or body shop could buy a new paint mixing station for $7,000, start mixing paints by December 31st, and deduct the whole $7,000 off his/her taxes. They could even lease the paint station, make monthly payments, and still take a hefty deduction on his/her federal and state income taxes.

But this is a “use it or lose it” situation. There is no carry over if you fail to take full advantage of this year's $100,000 allowance. The deduction is also limited to your taxable income from business activities. Vehicles, real estate, or improvements do not qualify. Since everyone's situation is different, be sure to ask a tax adviser if Section 179 will benefit you this year.
