Super Quad
This is another brand new
innovation between Bobbo and Mack. Designed
to be a four-in-one brush to assist the
pinstriper/artist in getting the fullest out
of his brushes. This brush because of it
fine hair and short bristles makes scrolling
easier and faster. It also does a great job
on pinstiping short lines 2=4 feet in length
without having to change brushes. Plus it
does small scripting and allows you to
letter your signature very small. The brush
has great snap and flexibility that the
others don't. This allows you to use the
brush for four different purposes non-stop.
The drawing shows the correct position to
hold the brush, about 65*-85* while only
using about 1/4" of the tip. Any deeper and
the hairs widen quickly. Heavy pressure and
lifting the brush as you go allows for easy
teardrop effects. Definitely a must have
brush in any pinstripers arsenal.

SWIRLY-Q

The Jenson's
Swirly Q brush is designed for scroll
striping and script lettering with enamel
based paints. Scroll striping requires
thinner paint. If mineral spirits were to be
used, the paint would run easier. I
recommend using a slow drying automotive
reducer for thinning enamel based paints.
Clean the brush thoroughly with reducer
before and after each use.

This quill was
produced as a cost alternative to the
traditional German quills. The erosion of
the dollar versus the euro has inflated the
price of quills in the last few years. It
was time to produce an American made nickel
plated ferrule quill to give the painter
another cost conscious choice. The
traditional quill will always have a place
in the sign painter’s kit. This is the same
as the Bobbo Super Quad brush hair so they
put that in this quill. The hair that is
used is a black synthetic and blue squirrel
mixture as opposed to the German quill that
is made of pure squirrel hair. The quill has
been put through the paces by many sign
