Dissolved minerals
are the culprit for water spotting after rinsing anything be it
a vehicle like a car, cycle, truck, boat, RV or even household
items like windows, doors, siding... actually anything you can
think of! Unlike softeners that leave lots of dissolved salts
in the water or even distilled water or a RO filter (Reverse
Osmosis) that simply can't clean down far enough to remove all
contaminates, de-ionized water is completely free of
contaminates... it's so pure that it will not conduct
electricity... now that's amazing!!!
The way DI works is
water flowing through two different types of resin material. The
first resin removes calcium, iron and magnesium ions similar to
a normal water softening process. However, unlike normal home
softening equipment, deionization units have a second type of
resin that also removes negatively charged ions, such as
fluorides, etc. to complete the cleaning process. The result is
mineral-free water that leaves absolutely no water spotting
after rinsing. What's left is a completely clean surface that
dries spot free... even in the sun!!!
Your Kit comes with a heavy duty 18" tall
tank, water faucet attachment hose, shutoff valve, hose caps for
storage and a handy compact TDS meter (Total Dissolved Solids)
that lets you see just how pure any water really is. The TDS
meter also helps in testing your output water and letting you
know when to recharge your unit. Recharging is really easy to
do. Just unscrew the cap, pour out and rinse the tank, pour in
the recharge package and screw on the cap. It's just that
simple. On average you should get between 200 to 800 gallons of
spot free water (depending on your waters hardness) between
recharges. This gives you one heck of a lot of spot free rinses!
